Q

The Door adh

A

Entrances and exits are dramatic, family threatened by outside forces.

Biggest threat is Krogstad entering ‘unnoticed’, boundary has been crossed

Final plays gesture is ‘noise of the door slamming’, becoming a family outsider by being on the other side of the door

Nora becomes wildly radical, door slam has symbolic weight. Stands as a cultural shift to a new era of individuality.
