marriage should be between a man and a woman, they can have children naturally - ‘be fruitful and increase in number’, can be gay but not act on it, ‘intrinsically detestable’

love is most important, ‘you are all one in Christ Jesus’, equality
Islam views on same-sex marriage
forbids same-sex relationships, marriage should be between a man and a woman, it is unnatural and against the will of Allah, having children is important, same-sex couples cannot fulfil their religion (marriage), can be put to death
Cohabitation definition
where couples who are not married live together
Catholic views on cohabitation
do not accept - sex should only happen in marriage, marriage provides stability
Other Christian view on cohabitation
marriage is the ideal but accepts cohabitation if it leads to marriage, some accept that some people don’t want to get married
Muslim view on cohabitation
do not accept it, very traditional views about members of the opposite sex meeting up prior to marriage - usually with another family member
