13
Q

Does his carefulness and cleverness prove he isn’t mad

A

No because he is using his cleverness into the evil work he is doing. He is a sociopath because he is cutting the body up and hiding it. This is clever but it still makes him “mad.” It is proving that he is more of a crazy man.

A

His window kept opening and it wouldn’t shut. He couldn’t sleep. He is starting to feel bad for what he did to spongebob. He regrets lying to him. The boots are smashing the money. He said the deed is done.

25
Q

summary of SpongeBob

A

Mr. Krabs gave his daughter boots but she didn’t like them so he convinced SpongeBob to take them. SpongeBob thought they were th collect shoes. Mr. Krabs felt bad for lying to him about the shoes, so he steals them back. He also couldn’t stand the squeaking (all the guilt) SpongeBob thought he lost the shoes so he felt that he let Mr. Krabs down. Mr. Krabs took an order and he could only hear the speaking of the boots. He couldn’t hear anything else. He felt so bad and he confesses that he stole the boots. He then cooked and ate the boots.

26
Q

How does SpongeBob relate to what we are learning/ how is educational

A

It is educational because it is a parody of the story we are reading about. It has many of the same details it has in the story. Mr. Krabs represents the narrator. because he wanted to steal the boots because of the squeaky noise just how the narrator wanted to kill the old mean because of his vulture eye. They both stole the boots and his them. SpongeBob represents the Old man because Mr. Krabs likes Spongebob but he doesn’t like the boots just how the narrator liked the old man but he didn’t like his vulture eye. He trusted Mr. Krabs because he is his boss. They both have things that annoy someone. The boots represent the vulture eye and the heartbeat because The boots were squeaking and he didn’t like the noise it was making and the narrator didn’t like the vulture eye. Once he stole and hid the boots they became the heartbreak, but before it is the squeaking which is like the vulture eye.

27
Q

why make a cartoon that parodies such a dark story

A

Younger kids can watch it and they won’t be scared. Parents can also enjoy it because it would be an inside joke to them. It teaches kids not to lie and steal.
