Start by using a measuring cylinder to measure 30cm^3 of dilute HCL
Transfer it to a Polystyrene cup
Put the cup in a beaker-so the cup can’t fall over
Use a thermometer to measure the temp of the acid
Add 5cm^3 of sodium hydroxide to the cup
Put a plastic lid on the cup and fit a whole for the thermometer
Stir it and record the temperature
Do it again adding 5cm^3 of sodium hydroxide each time
Record the temp each time
