1- GIT disturbances (hear burn, nausea, vomiting)
2- oral candida ( nystatin)
3- colitis c.defecile
4- fetus: impaired bone growth and hypoplasia for teeth
5- child: hypoplasia and discoloration of teeth
6- hepatotoxicity (in preexisting hepatic disease and pregnant=> hepatic necrosis)
7- phototoxicity: inc. skin sensitivity to UV light
8- dizziness and vertigo in doxy + mino cyclin
