Tourism is when a person is away from their everyday habitat and is travelling outside of their usual space for their own pleasure and to partake in activities that are linked to the area they are travelling to.

A

IS= A tourist is someone that travels to a place that is not theirs and stays there for more than a night.
NOT= Someone just visiting, for example an old man on a day trip to the Lake District. Also, someone staying for 2 years.
