What caused the Great Depression?
A
Overproduction of goods - companies has made too much stock that no one was buying anymore (they already had it)

How were farmers suffering?
A
- Too many crops meaning prices have dropped extremely low
- International trade has also dropped
- Already in a bad place from the 1920s
- Many farmers couldn’t pay their mortgage
