Reinforcement
used to strengthen s-r bond and increases repetition of skill
positive reinforcement
stimulus occurs after reward or praise
negative reinforcement
removing something desirable to reinforce the desired behaviour.
EG: removing a game situation in training until skills have been learnt before.
punishment
stimulus is give to prevent the incorrect response from occurring again
EG: forfeit.
