What is qualitative data

What is quantitative data - two types of it

Qualitative - non numerical e.g. It is blue, rectangular

Quantitative - numerical e.g. 1.2 m by 90cm or weighs 1.3kg
Quantitative can either be discrete - limited to particular values e.g. 0, 1 ,2 or continuous data any value within a range e.g. Might measure to 118.73cm but round to 1.2
