People are living longer, so there are more retired people that have a pension large enough to pay for several trips a year.

What does the amount of children you have have to do with the growth of tourism?
Less children means less expenses put toward the family. This makes being able to afford a holiday easier and therefore increases tourism.
How does the ownership of cars impact increase in tourism?
Cars give us the ability to travel. Whether it be somewhere else in the country or to an airport, this increases tourism and the accessibility to it.
List some reasons travel today is easy and quick.
Motorways, airport expansion, faster jet aircrafts.
Has flying become cheaper?
Yes. Things such as package deals now exist.
