The 7th president. He believed in manifest destiny and thought that the Native American land was his for the taking. He forced the natives from their homes after signing on the Indian Removal Act.

This is the trail walked by over 100,000 natives following the Indian Removal Act. Over 16,000 died on the journey to the west of the Mississippi River
