Type 2 tumours

A
  • Serous tubal intraepithelial carcinoma (STIC)
  • High-grade serous carcinoma, carcinosarcoma, undifferentiated
  • Advanced stage, abrupt
  • Mesothelial lined surfaces of the ovary, fallopian tube and peritoneum
  • 10% of women with ovarian cancer have a positive family history and a heterozygous mutation in BRCA1 or BRCA2
