Jesus was both human and God. He was able totake punishmentfor a human sin because he was human and because he is and was God.

• The galatians states that ‘the fruit of the holy spirit is love, joy peace, forbearanc, kindness, goodnes, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control’

• The disciples recieved the holy spirit when jesus breathed on them
• it was gods energising spirit that brought jesus back to life
• At his baptism, Gods spirit rested on him like a bird
• Jesus promised theapostles that he would send them the holy spirit after his cucifixion and resurrection

• His disciples heard a voice from heaven saying that ‘this is my son, whom i love. Listen to him.’
• Following his death on the cross, a roman soldier said ‘surely he was the son o god’
• angel gabriel told mary ‘the holy one to be born will be called the son of God’
