Hardware

Computer

Memory
the faculty by which the mind stores and remembers information.
Storage
the retention of retrievable data on a computer or other electronic system; memory.
Peripheral Device
connects to and works with the computer in some way.
Input Device
a piece of computer hardware equipment used to provide data and control signals to an information processing system such as a computer or information appliance.
Output Device
any device used to send data from a computer to another device or user.
Processing Device
any device in a computer that handles this intermediate stage.
Storage device
a piece of computer equipment on which information can be stored.
CPU
brains of the computer where most calculations take place.
Core
processing unit which receives instructions and performs calculations, or actions, based on those instructions.
Types of CPUs
Celeron core, i3 core, i5 core, i7 core.
Optical drive
a type of computer disk drive that reads and writes data from optical disks through laser beaming technology.
Router
a device that forwards data packets to the appropriate parts of a computer network.
Server
a computer or computer program that manages access to a centralized resource or service in a network.
