Pure substance
A material that is composed of only one type of particle

Mixture is in one which the composition of its constituents are unformally mixed throughout
Example: filtered sea water

A nonuniform mixture in which the components separate and the composition varies.
Example: separation of sand and water

Example : pepper in water

The state of being thick, sticky, and semi fluid in consistency due to the internal friction
Example: Honey

The ability of metal to be hammered into thin sheets
Example: gold and silver
Boiling point
The temperature at which a liquid turns into a vapor
Melting point
The temperature at which in change of state from a solid to a liquid
Density
The state or quality of being dense; compactness
Conductivity
The degree in which a specific material conducts electricity
Flammability
The ability of a substance to burn
Example: marshmallow
