Aqueous
A state of matter in which a compound or element is dissolved in water and separated into its base ions
Balancing reaction
The process of making the two sides of the reactions equal by multiplying whole molecule
Ion
A positively (+) or negatively (-) charged atom or molecule

Coefficient
The full-size number that indicates how many multiples of whole molecules or elements are present in a reaction.
Precipitation
A sub-type of double displacement reaction in which a solid is formed.
Combustion
A type of reaction in which a hydrocarbon reacts with oxygen gas to produce carbon dioxide and water.
