Posterior thorax to brachium
Action: extension, adduction, medial rotation of brachium
Deltoid
Major abductor of the arm
Action: anterior part does flexion and medial rotation of brachium, posterior part does extension an lateral rotation of brachium
Coracobrachialis
Small muscle near the medial side of the biceps brachii
Action: adduction and flexion of brachium
Teres Major
Larger muscle compared to trees minor, located inferior to minor
Action: medial rotation and extension of brachium
Teres Minor
Smaller muscle compared to Teres Major
Action: lateral rotation and adduction of brachium
Supraspinatus
located in supraspinous fossa
Action: abduction of brachium
Infraspinatus
Located in the infraspinous fossa
Action: lateral rotation of brachium
Subscapularis
located in the subscapular fossa
Action: medial rotation of brachium
