Visions Flashcards
Visions can be a powerful personal experience which gives out great strength and faith
They could be explained as hallucinating, misunderstanding, or simply made up
Also dreams could simply be our subconscious wanting to have a religious experience
There are many examples in the bible throughout history which allow people to interpret visions in a religious way
Even if the vision is believed to be genuine, there is no reason to see it as gods existence
The things which are foretold come true e.g. Abraham
No proof as the vision and message could be general and non specific
The vision causes a visible change in behaviour e.g. Joan of arc
The vision only represents an individuals wishes or subconscious or things they already know
Multiple people seeing the same thing, for example people in Fatima
In conclusion, I don’t think visions prove the existence of god because we have no proof
