Q

Explain the Magic Factory in Norway

A

Similar to the circular economy image before. Make green CO2. Have food waste and manure waste. Replaces 5 million litres of diesel in buses. Make a biofertilier

Q

Explain how bioenergy systems can be modified to enhance circular economy concepts

A
  • Boost waste recycling and reuse.
  • Cut waste and energy use
  • Replace linear models with natural circular systems
  • Ensure product flows are circular to improve the circular economy.
  • Favour local biogas and agricultural reuse over long-distance biomass export.

Q

Basic bioenergy system with CC and storage. Draw a basic diagram

A

Willow feedstock, makes CO2 and the willow takes this CO2.
System can be neagtive if the CO2 is fucked underground

Q

What did Audi do in Germany with the power demand?

A

They built an electrolyser. They spill excess electricity to their electrolyser and don’t pay anything. Built it by an AD. H2 is used with the CO2 and they make methane for vehicles to run on. So they produce biomethane and e gas. Price is based on CO2 saved.
