Q

explain Manifest Destiny and what role in the U.S’s westward expansion?

A

Manifest destiny is the belief that the U.S had the right to spread from ocean to ocean. This idea boosted any ideas of migration to the west and possible add-ons to the U.S union. This had a lot of negative effects though. While people were going to different territories, they took the Natives Americans supplies and kicked them off of their own land. I believe many forget that the Native Americans were here before any of them.
