What is a authorized prescriber?
Someone who is registered with the state of Massachusetts to prescribe medication
Example: HCPs, doctors, dentists, and nurse practitioners
When should you contact a MAP consultant?
•too much or too little of a medication was administered
•the medication was omitted (not given)
•the HCP order, pharmacy label or medication sheet do not agree
