Nonaggression pact
A non-aggression pact or neutrality pact is a treaty between two or more states/countries that includes a promise by the signatories not to engage in military action against each other.

Neutrality
During World War II, neutral powers were the countries that chose to not choose sides throughout the war. The neutral powers did not take any side with the hopes of avoiding attack from the countries at war.
