What does Soliloquy mean?
Soliloquy means a speech in a play when an actor speaks to himself or herself to the audience, rather than to a nother actor
What does Tragic protagonists mean?
Tragic protagonists are the main characters of a tragic play
What does antagonist mean?
An opponent or enemy
What does extended metaphor mean?
A metaphor that is developed in great detail
What does hubris mean?
Someone is so arrogant they would challenge a God (Arrogant pride)
What does unrequited love?
Loving someone who doesn’t love you back
What does Dramatic irony mean?
The implifications of a speech, situation, etc and are understood by the audience but not the characters in the plays
What does Monologue mean?
A monologue is a long speech spoken by one person
What does Impetuous mean?
To act quickly and suddenly without thinking or being careful
What does Volatile mean?
A situation that is volatile is most likey to change suddenly and unexpectidly.
