What is the second spelling of Jesus according to Nehemiah?

A

Joshua’s Second form of Jesus. First was Jeshua in Nehemiah, now it is Joshua who is a priest. In Ezra, he is of regular importance but in Zechariah, he is really important. He is a high priest here. The post-exilic prophets.

A

Ezra is more concerned than Zechariah of mingling (intermarrying) with non-israelites because they have just returned from exile.

Ezra knows that foreigners will lead you astray.
