Adjective?
A word or phrase naming an attribute, added to or grammatically related to a noun to modify or describe it.
Adverb?
A word or phrase that modifies or qualifies an adjective, verb, or other adverb or a word group, expressing a relation of place, time, circumstance, manner, cause, degree, etc.
Alliteration?
The occurrence of the same letter or sound at the beginning of adjacent or closely connected words.
Allusion?
An expression designed to call something to mind without mentioning it explicitly; an indirect or passing reference.
Anaphora?
The repetition of a word or phrase at the beginning of successive clauses.

Language that is intended to create an image, association, or other effect in the mind of the listener or reader that goes beyond the literal meaning or expected use of the words involved.
