Q

What are the steps of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)?

A

1- Statement of objective: we need to see why we need the system, so we have to write the objectives we need
2- Investigation and Feasibility study: we need to do a study to know how we can solve the problem
3- System analysis: Study the current system to find the problems in it
4- Conceptual design: work with users to make the basic design
5- Physical design: we need to do the harwere the security, all the physical things
6- Development and testing: here we test if the system works well and fix the problems
7- System Implementation and Conversion: here we lunch the system and we train the users on the system
8- Operation and maintenance: regularly check and improve it

Q

What is Business Process Analysis (BPA), and why do we need it?

A

We use it to analyze the current system to improve it and the steps on it, by reducing the waste in the system and improving how the system operates. (improving efficiency in the system)

Important note: here we dont implement the improvment or do anything we just analyze and identify the process so we can then improve or implemet later its called —-> BPI from business process improvements

Q

What does the Robotic Automation Analysis do, or how does it work? explain it

A

It’s a digital robot that mimics human business tasks, it’s rule-based, Repetitive, and volume-based, a robot that can improve efficiency and handle tasks that take time.

The robot can’t think, he do the same task every time, so if the system changes, the data isn’t good, the robot might make some mistakes, so we still need an IT department to fix these issues

Q

Which of the following is not a task that is part of a business process analysis?

A. Implement improvements to the process.
B. Model potential changes to the process.
C. Determine the beginning and ending points of the process to be analyzed.
