Q

How did the Treaty of Versailles lead to WW2?

A

Hitler wanted revenge from the Treaty of Versailles:

1) German people thought it was too harsh, Hitler manipulated the anger of the people for his foreign policy aims.
2) Territory was taken from Germany and Russia to create Poland, Russia and Germany wanted this land back and so signed the Nazi-Soviet Pact.
3) New nations such as Czechoslovakia and Poland were where many Germans were living, Hitler aimed to reunite all these German-speaking people.
