The 7 steps of treating water

A

Groundwater - rain water, underground water
Filtration- separate sands and particles
Coagulation- chemicals to bring particles together
Sedimentation- gravity to remove suspended soils
Sterilisation- killing/ remove microorganisms (high temp, pressure, chem)
Ph check- determine purity
Fluoridation- fluorine added for tooth decay ( controversial cause salty)
