A

Building Control Performance Guide gives details on calculating number of visits needed and how regularly.
BR states commencement and completion are mandatory inspections. We inspect foundations, drainage, superstructure, roof, pre-plaster, completion, high risk areas.

A

I would calculate the hours needed to complete the job. If I had experience with the builder I would look at previous projects and adjust based on quality and additional assistance needed.

A

I inspect every stage, of every plot, plus one a week frequency. I determine based on quality and competence of builder whether they need additional inspections to cover our risk and prevent defects

A

Building Control Performance Guide - Every 28 days for active site, every 3 months for non-active sites to ensure legal control is maintained.

Written report with photos, explaining what I advise as remedial works. Maximum 3 months to repair other will revert job to local authority.
