  • no staining
  • no food debris

What would you do if a patients presents with bad oral hygiene during fixed appliance treatment?

A
  • go through oral hygiene instructions with patient and stress the importance of good oral hygiene
  • if there is no improvement on the next visit remove arch wires
  • again if there is no improvement - premature debond
