People are moving from rural to urban due to wanting better quality of life and better jobs this causes RAPID CITY GROWTH.

Culture and art is important to be the centre in the industry

Development of slums
Increase crime
More demand for resources
Issues and planning ?
WASTE- rubbish is collected and end up in dumb. People in the informal sector collected them and sell them and are provided with income but it still can be dangerous
Pollution- water and air pollution so Lagos has created RAPID BUS TRANSPORTATION for quicker journeys
Opportunities?
HEALTHCARE- Better in the city access to doctors,clinics and hospitals
WATER-reliable source of water
ECONOMIC - different skills,qualifications and higher wages
CHALLENGES ?
HEALTH AND EDUCATION- isn’t free so not everyone can afford causing unequal opportunities
REDUCING CRIME AND UNEMPLOYMENT -
lack of jobs causing people to result in crime for income e.g theft,drugs
