  2. Fuel Selector Valve - Select Other Tank
  3. Magnetos - Check Both
  4. Aux Fuel Pump - HI
  5. Mixture - Full Rich, Then Lean as Required
    IF no restart then:
  6. Aux Fuel Pump - Off
  7. Mixture - Full Rich
  8. Magnetos - Check Left, Right, Then Both
  9. Alternate Air Handle - Pull and Release

Engine Restart (Stoppage After Retarding Throttle to Idle)

Unexpected Loss of Manifold Pressure

A
  1. Reduce Power to the minimum power setting required for continued flight to a suitable landing
  2. Pull the vent shutoff/firewall air control to closed
  3. Adjust mixture so that EGT’s are between 1300 and 1400 deg F
  4. Open cowl flaps
  5. Declare an emergency when time and workload permit
  6. Descent to the minimum safe altitude
  7. Remain alert for the possibility of a fire in the engine compartment
