Takeoff Warning Horn

Answer 1

Sounds if weight on wheels, one or both power levers above 50% torque,and one of the following exists:

• Elevator Trim out of T/O range
• Flaps extended more than 20º or less than 5º
• One or both condition levers not at MAX
• Parking Brake lever selected to park
• Engine ECU not at TOP

Takeoff horn ceases when aircraft is configured properly

Question 2

Landing Gear Warning

Answer 2

Activated by the PSEU and sounds if gear has not been extended and either of the following conditions exists:

• Flaps are selected to 15º or greater
• Autofeather is Off
• Power Levers below the T/O position
• OR -
• One or both power levers are at or near FLT IDLE
• Airspeed below 130 kts.

1st Condition cannot be silenced except by lowering gear.

Question 3

Beta Warning System

Answer 3

Activated by inadvertant or deliberate raising of power lever triggers in flight.

Functional at all power lever positions when aircraft is above 20 ft radar altitude.

Overspeed Warning

Answer 4

Airspeed above V_MO
