Q

What are the ASV adjustments for Respironics BiPAP AutoSV Advanced?

A
  • EPAPmin and EPAPmax
  • Pressure testing mode like AutoCPAP: Increases 1 cm H2O every 15 seconds if at least 2 obstructive events

Q

What are the PS adjustments for Respironics BiPAP AutoSV Advanced?

A
  • Current breath’s starting PS based on prior breath’s PS and how far previous breath was from target volume with gain determined from the PS needed to reach a volume during the last 30 breaths
  • Intrabreath adjustment of PS based on flow just before halfway point of inspiratory cycle if expected volume differs from target volume
  • Limited by PSmin and PSmax
