A
combination of
- hearing loss, syncope,
- normal vital signs and physical exam and
- family history of sudden cardiac death

Long QT Syndrome Tx
A
beta blocker such as metoprolol.
If this child has symptoms
again while on a beta blocker, then a pacemaker with implantable
cardioverter-defibrillator capability may be indicated.
