Any condition requiring plant to be shut down remotely except a major fire in control room or cable spreading room.

Proceeds to TSC, reference EALs, monitor plant and impement EOPs as needed

What actions are taken by the CRS?

Answer 3

1) Trips CRDs at the breakers
2) Direct ROs to control SG levels as needed (30”), RCS pressure (2050 to 2250#) using PZR proportionals locally, pzr level (220”) by throttling HPI block is level lowering (CV-1220/1285) and Letdown to lower level, Mu tank level and SG pressure (ROs can take manual control of TBV if not 950 to 1020#).

Question 5

What actions are taken by RO1?

Answer 5

1) Open BWST outlet (CV-1407) at B-51
2) Start P-75 from breaker, trip MFPs, ensure CV-2827 open, and check Main and LL block valves closed (Just trip MFPs if EFW only thing availabe and don’t open MS to E-2)
3) Open MS to E-2 valves
4) If directed open HPI block (CV-1220 at B-51) and control TBVs manually

What major actions are taken by RO#2?

1) Open CV-1408 at B-61
2) Close CV-1221 at B-61
3) Close Makeup Block valve at B-62
4) Open polisher bypass and close MOV inlets to all polishers
5) If directed bleed using CV-1248 from B-31, operate CV-1275 from B-56, operate CV-1285 HPI Block from B-62, Operate TBV manually and monitor instrument rack outside orange door

If EFW, same first 3 steps, check EFW valves open at breakers.

Normal makeup and letdown is isolated by RO#2. PZR level is controlled by opening HPI block or putting letdown in service.
