Erythema/ mild inflammatory lesion:
1st line: 
- topical metronidazole 
- topical azelaic acid 
- topical brimonidine (alpha adrenergic agonists) 

If no response after 8-12 weeks:
consider laser or light therapy or po doxycycline

Papulopustular rosacea:
1st line: topical ivermectin/ metronidazole, azelaic acid
2nd: add po doxycycline/ tetracycline to topicals

Phymatous rosecea: topical retinoid
