When it comes to adjusting the base of the seat how do you know it is properly adjusted ?

A

When you are sitting on the base you must ensure that your eyes are levelled with the centre of the windscreen, you should reach the foot controls comfortably in that position , when pressing the clutch pedal there should be only a slight bend at the knee. From that your arms should be at 10 and 2 position with a slight bend to the arm if the base is correctly adjusted

Q

What is the 6th step of the cockpit drill?? What are the differences between these

A

Mirrors, there are 3; centre, left and right. The centre is flat glass so it gives you a true reflection of vehicles behind. The side mirrors are made from convex glass and the give you a wider range of view and make things seem further and smaller than they actually are.
