Stabilized Approach Criteria (SOP 2.17)

A

IMC stabilized < 1,000’ HAT
VMC stabilized < 500’ HAT

Correct Track
Proper landing config 
       Flaps 22 or 45
       Gear Down
Normal bracketing after FAF, (no level off below 1,000 to HAT)
Speed <= Vref+20
ROD <= 1000 fpm

A

All Takeoffs ALT T/O1 unless:
TO flaps 22
Performance data does not allow ALT T/O-1
Discretion of PIC

Note: All power adjustments made by CA regardless who PF

Brief APG DP when:

A

WX < 3,000 and 5sm - brief entire APG DP

WX > 3,000 and 5 - brief only the initial heading and radial/course

Turning on AP

A

PF:

  1. select Sync (heading) then HDG mode on FGC
  2. CPL AP to PF side
  3. select AP on FGC panel
  4. wait for green AP displayed on PFD, then call “ autopilot on”

No call needed when AP turned off, but YD will need to be engaged

No BANK mode below FL180 in terminal area while being vectored

Setup of Comm frequencies in RMUs

A

Use Com 1 on ground before pushback/taxi, com 2 is primary in air
Com 1
- ATIS and clearance
- company (122.87)
- CTAF while on ground
- Assigned departure freq in standby window

COM 2

  • ramp/ FBN
  • ground
  • CTAF
  • tower
  • when no longer talking to ground, put departure in standby (reading from Com 1 standby window
