What were vice-admiralty courts why did they exist? What rules did they have?

A

They were courts for people who tried to smuggle when passing through the British. There were no juries (people who decided guilty or innocent after evidence is shown)
and people were guilty until proven innocent.

A

They were people who spread information everywhere in the thirteen colonies.

A

1764, tax on things with sugar in them. Merchants were losing money because merchants bought sugar with tax, and tried to sell them with tax which no one would buy.
