Q

How can a coach use the interactionist theory to improve performance

A
  • coach can predict aggressive behaviour and take player off which can avoid red card
  • create challenging situations in training to help players cope, eg get nervous players to train in front of a crowd
  • coach can encourage players to adapt to specific situations e.g calm down / encourage nervous players
