Vascular - sudden and progresses with each stroke - stepwise progression

Alzheimer’s - chronic progression that gradually worsens

What drug can be taken to reduce symptoms?

A

No way of reversing

Cholinesterase inhibitors e.g. rivastigmine and donepezil

Reduce risk of stroke

  • stop smoking
