High crawl

A

a. This lets you move faster than the low cawl and still gives you a low silhouette. Use when there is good cover and concealment but enemy fire prevents you from standing up
b. Keep body off ground – resting weight on forearms and lower legs
c. Cradle weapon in your arms and keep muzzle of the weapon off the ground
d. Keep your knees well behind your buttocks and stays low
e. Move forward by alternately advancing your right elbow/left knee and left elbow/right knee

Low crawl

A

a. The low crawl gives lowest possible silhouette – use to cross where cover and concealment are very low and enemy fire or observation prevents you from getting up
b. Keep body as flat as possible to the ground
c. Grasp the sling of the weapon at the upper sling swivel w firing hand
d. Let hand guard rest on forearm and keep muzzle of weapon off the ground
e. Move forward
f. Push both arms forward while pulling your firing side leg forward
g. Pull the ground w both arms while pushing w your firing side leg
h. Repeat until reach position

Rush

A

a. Rush is fastest way to move from one position to another. Use when you must cross an open area and time is critical
b. Raise your head and select your next position
c. Lower your head and draw your arms into your body
d. Pull your firing side leg forward, raise your body and get up quickly
e. Run for 3-5 sec to next position
f. Plant both feet just before hitting ground: fall forward and drop to your knees
g. Slid your firing hand down the heel of the butt of your weapon using it to break your fall
