Q

What is the process of electrolysis?

A
  • Current passes through electrolyte.
  • Ions move to electrodes
  • Positive move to cathode (-ve), gain + reduction
  • Negative move to anode (+ve), lose + oxidised
  • Creat flow of charge
  • Uncharged elements form + discharged from electrolyte
