A

Bacteria can produce toxins that make you feel ill. Viruses live and reproduce inside your cells, causing cell damage

A

A

They take over the cells of your body - live and reproduce inside the cells - damaging and destroying them

What are the different types of transmission that can spread pathogens?

A

Direct contact - This can be sexual contact during intercourse or non-sexual contact, like shaking hands
Water or Air - thousands of tiny droplets containing virus particles to infect others.
Unhygienic food preparation - preparation Undercooked or reheated food can cause bacterial diseases
Vector - Any organism that can spread a disease is called a vector
