A
Confirm diagnosis with scrapings/clippings firstly
Confirmed dermatophyte infection- oral terbinafine (or itroconazole)

How long should finger/toenail infections be treated for?
A
6 weeks to 3 months for fingers; 3-6 months for toes

Management of tinea capitis?
A
Oral antifungals e.g. terbinafine, griseofulvin with co-prescription of topical ketoconazole for 2 weeks

Management of tinea corporis/pedis?
A
Topical antifungal e.g. terbinafine +/- mildly potent topical steroid
If extensive- oral antifungal e.g. fluconazole
