Jesus was hungry and saw that a fig tree had its leaves. He goes over to the tree to eat and fines no fruit. What happens?
He curses the tree and it ends up dying immediately. He is the Lord and can do so as he pleases

If they didn’t have the exact amount of half a shekel, then they had to go to the moneychangers table and pay an additional fee to get the exact amount of half of the shekel
Purchasing a dove outside of the temple would cost you about two days of wage. What about inside the temple?
It was a risk; will it be good enough? The dove had to be perfect to be excepted as a sacrifice.
The doves in the temple could cost up to 15 days worth of wages

Jesus knew that it wasn’t the season for fix to be produced, but he saw from a distance that it had leaves. What did he do?
A Prophetic, dramatic action by Jesus.
In Palestine, it was a well-known fact that when fig trees had leaves on them that would be fruit on it as well.
What does this tree resemble about the condition of Israel
The truest condition of Israel and his fruitless condition. Baron. They were called to represent God, but their actions were fruitless 
Israel looked like it had the fruit of holiness. What did it have?
It only looks holy, but it did not produce fruit. Jesus wept for the city
Why was the fig tree curse prophetic?
Because it was just seven years later that Jerusalem had fallen. God gave them multiple opportunities to change but they chose not to
What was the condition of the fig tree after Jesus cursed it?
It was dried up from the roots and not just the leaves
