Q

What is coronary perfusion pressure?

A

The maximum pressure of the blood perfusing the coronary arteries (mmHg)

or The pressure difference between aortic diastolic pressure and LVEDP(mmmHg)

Q

What is central venous pressure?

A

Hydrostatic pressure generated by the blood in the great veins. It can be used as a surrogate of right atrial pressures (mmHg).

Q

?Pulmonary Capillary Wedge Pressure

A

is an indirect estimate of left atrial pressure.

Measured by passing a catheter through right side of heart into pulmonary vessels and measuring its changing pressures.

Should be ideally measured in West Zone 3.. Surrogate for LVEDP.
