Extra articular manifestation in juvenile rheumatoid arthritis :
salmon-pink rash High swinging fevers Enlarged lymph nodes Weight loss Joint inflammation and pain Splenomegaly Muscle pain Pleuritis and pericarditis
Clinical manifestation in asthma:
Diurnal variability, typically worse at night and early morning, changes with seasons, worse after excercise
Dry cough with wheeze and shortness of breath
A history of other atopic conditions such as eczema, hayfever and food allergies
Family history of asthma or atopy
improve with bronchodilators
Diagnosis of agammaglobulinemia
X linked- so history of affected males in the family
Serum IgG , IgM,IgA low
Test for natural antibodies to A and B RBC antigens is abnormal
Tests for antibodies to routine vaccines abnormal
Flow cytometry- decrease b cells
Bone marrow- normal number of pre b cells
