Aetiology of Pressure Ulcer.

A
  1. Prolonged pressure on particular area e.g. the sacrum.
  2. Skin breaks down.
  3. Combination of reduced blood supply, localised ischaemia, reduced lymph drainage, deformation of tissues under pressure.
